A great Person, Patriot, Citizen and sincere Democrat who affirmed the humanistic values, ideals of virtue, truth and justice by his self-sacrificing life has departed. National journalism is deserted, as its Patriarch, devoted servant and defender of the Word, unfailing leader of "Silski Visti" newspaper has passed away".
The loss is irrecoverable, the sorrow boundless. The death has ruthlessly taken our true friend, wise advisor, prominent journalist and a good-natured, sensitive person.
We pay deep respect to the eternal memory of Ivan Vasyliovych.
His inspiring image will remain in our hearts.
